Morning
A quick ramble from me this morning...
Want to know what I think is underrated?
Working hard in silence.
Don’t you just hate it when celebs do charity work…
But then feel the need to tell the whole world?
Of course, fair play to then helping
out,
But when it becomes a photo op for a social media post, or an insta opportunity,
The whole thing just feels staged, hollow and full of ‘virtue signalling’.
The same thing happens when we feel the need to announce or plans to the world.
I’m sure you’ve seen people in the gym…
Grunting away to draw attention to themselves…
Looking around to make sure everyone’s
watching.
Makes me cringe so hard 😬
Get in there… do what’s necessary to succeed… then leave
You don’t always need to be taking photos with a full tripod and camera set up for every single session.
Taking 1000s photos or acting like a dick.
Just turn up and do the work.
Then go home.
Working hard in silence is very underrated.
The only person
you’re in competition with is yourself.
Keep it that way.
